Pie Warmer

Potentially hazardous food must be placed into a food warmer as they are designed to maintain hot temperatures. It is important to remember that food warmers must be hot prior to placing hot potentially hazardous foods into them. If cooked foods fall to below 60° C, then the product has dropped into the danger zone where bacteria can grow rapidly. Among others, a food warmer can be a bain-marie, a plate warmer, a food heat lamp or a pie warmer.

A pie warmer is ideal to maintain food at serving temperature and display it in a safe environment. For take-aways, bakeries or canteens, you can store your products after the baking process. Having a pie warmer is great way to enhance your products in a point of sale position.
