CARA, Proprietor and Founder
Sydney and Melbourne
Cara started Cafeideas in 2003 with her brother Damien and is the creator of the famous pink logo business - Cafeideas. She now juggles running two successful businesses, Cafeideas and its sister company Outdoor Furniture Ideas working in the B2B and B2C industries. While she insures both companies run smoothly, Cara finds time to travel the world to find the next trending furniture styles, hoping you will like them the way she does. From Europe to Asia, she is always on the hunt for new designs.

DAMIEN, General Manager and Co-Founder
Sydney and Melbourne
With over 15 years experience in Hospitality, Damien knows the industry inside out, and the industry knows him. He is a people person, developing strong relationships with major suppliers, while managing the Sales team, while occasionally dealing with unexpected situations. Damien is also a Certified Food Service Professional and has an extensive knowledge about catering equipment.

DANIEL, Sales Consultant
Sydney
Daniel is a Certified Food Service Professional. He arrived top of the class when he took the NAFES exam in 2017 and received an award for his outstanding performance. Daniel is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely enjoys learning. He will never try to sell you a product he does not understand.

DEAN, Senior Sales Consultant
Sydney
Dean has been in the hospitality industry for a while. Working in the kitchen in an Italian restaurant for 5 years, he gathered hands-on experience before going to university for 3 years where he graduated with a Bachelor in Business & Commerce. He when back to his first love, hospitality, where he’s been working as a Sales Representative for over 5 years now.

MARCO, Sales Consultant
Sydney
Coming all the way from Italy where he worked as an upholsterer for years and developed a real passion for furniture, Marco decided to Move to Australia and opened his own café in North Sydney. After 5 years, he thought it was time for another adventure and he joined the Cafeideas team.

VIBHA, Sales Consultant
Sydney
Vibha has a Bachelor degree in Architecture with a specialization in Interior Design. With years of experience working overseas, she certainly has developed an eye for interior finishes and will be able to help you create a theme for your venue. Matching colours, shapes and fabrics is not always easy. Vibha is also a Certified Food Service Professional.

ANTHONY, Sales Manager
Melbourne
Anthony has a Bachelor degree in Business Management and over 12 years of experience in Sales and Relationship Management. He has developed a strong and reliable knowledge about catering equipment and cafe furniture, and will gladly answer all your questions from our Melbourne showroom with his bubbly warm personality.

STANLEY, Purchasing Manager
Sydney
Stan is the man working behind the scenes, making the magic happen. He works really hard to meet impossible deadlines and is the link between suppliers, couriers and you. He chases suppliers to dispatch your orders on time, but also chases couriers to make sure your orders are delivered on time.

CRAIG, Warehouse & Logistics Manager
Sydney
Craig has over 10 years of experience under his belt. He started his career back in the UK in warehousing and came to Australia to find his home with Cafeideas! He is a machine and can do the job of 3 people as his warehouse knowledge and organisation skills are 2nd to none.

CHERYL, Accounts Manager
Sydney
Cheryl keeps the wheels turning and our suppliers happy. She has been the Accounts Manager since 2003 and ensures that all balances and checks are done with the company books! She is also the mother figure to the team at Cafeideas as she is also Cara and Damiens Mum.

ANDREA, Financial and Operations Manager
Sydney
Andrea recently completed her Masters’ in Professional Accounting Advanced. With over 9 years of experience in the financial industry overseas, she now supports all financial and operations at Cafeideas.

MARIA, Sales Consultant
Melbourne
Maria has over 15 years experience in the hospitality industry and her vast knowledge of complete commercial kitchen fitouts is impressive and one to be rivalled. She is thorough, very knowledgable and a true peoples person as she loves to assist all her customers and go above and beyond. She works in our West Melbourne showroom alongside Anthony as part of the Cafeideas Melbourne Team.

JOHN, Technical Support
Sydney
John is semi retired and works along his family as the "go-to" for everything that needs to be fixed or repaired. He is the father of Cara and Damien and husband of Cheryl. His technical knowledge is impressive and he helps the entire Cafeideas Team with any difficulties as they arise with products and troubleshoots them.

YORICK, Warehouse Hand
Sydney
Yorick works at our warehouse alongside Craig ensuring all the Cafeideas orders are picked and shipped on time. Always there to give a hand when needed, and a great support to the Cafeideas warehouse team. No task is too big or too small for Yorick.
